Organic MASTIC FRUIT pulp oil
Mastic oil is a product that has a millenary tradition in Italy. The Pistacia Lentiscus variety grows spontaneously in many coastal areas of the Mediterranean. Known for its antibacterial properties (oral cavity and intestine) it can be used for both food and cosmetic use. The pressing of the dried berries extracts a green oil with an intense aroma rich in active ingredients, essential oils and fats present in the pulp rich in Omega-9 (Oleic Acid). Rich in polyphenols, sterols and tocopherols (vitamins E, F), it is used as well for the treatment of irritated skin and to calm dermatitis or psoriasis.
